This is Lawrie's statue of George Washington, from the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
This is the historic cathedral where the funerals of many American dignataries have been held, including many Presidents.
Here again, many recognize the statue, but few realize it was Lawrie's.
Lawrie was primarily an architectural sculptor, and freestanding figures were more the exception to his style, rather than the rule.
